“Helping educational programs make digital radiography easy to understand.”

CORRELATION of “Digital Processing” Discs w/ Radiography in Digital Age Textbook

Recommended placement of mini-lessons in your course in relation to the textbook:

A1 Overview: I would do this at the very beginning of your digital processing units as an Introduction to digital processing before lecturing on anything past Chapter 29.

A2 Rescaling: I would save this one until after you have covered Chapter 30 pages 484-493 by lecture, and use it as review and reinforcement.

B3 LUTs and Windowing: I would use this as reinforcement after lecturing on Chapter 31 pages 500-505.

A3 Kernels: I would first cover by lecture Chapter 31 pages 509-514, then use it as a recap. It also touches on pages 521 and 477.

B1 Fourier Transform: I would use this before lecturing on Chapter 31 pages 514-516. It provides great visual models for understanding how an image can be represented as frequencies and is a super way to introduce the concept of frequency processing.

B2 Frequency Processing: I would use this as reinforcement after lecturing on Chapter 31 pages 516-522.
